Cloud Engineering & DevOps Specialist

Cyber Soft Vantage (CSV), located in I-10/3, Islamabad, is seeking a skilled Cloud & DevOps Engineer to join their team full-time in an on-site capacity. The working hours are from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, securing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and deployment platforms across production environments. This role requires hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and DigitalOcean, along with expertise in CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, Infrastructure-as-Code, networking, monitoring, security, and production infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across Azure, GCP, and DigitalOcean.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Provision and manage infrastructure with Terraform, Bicep/ARM, Ansible, or equivalent Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers.
- Configure and manage DNS, firewalls, load balancers, SSL/TLS, IP addressing, VPC/VNet, subnets, and other networking components.
- Implement infrastructure monitoring, centralized logging, alerting, and performance monitoring.
- Manage cloud security, including IAM/RBAC, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and server hardening.
- Support production deployments, incident resolution, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and service recovery.
- Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, high-availability, and business continuity solutions.
- Collaborate closely with developers and technical teams to improve deployment reliability and infrastructure performance.
- Automate repetitive infrastructure and operational tasks through scripting and configuration management.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of professional hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure roles.
- Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and DigitalOcean — expertise in all three platforms is mandatory.
- Strong background in managing production cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Terraform and/or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Strong Linux administration skills; experience with Windows Server is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, SSL/TLS, IP management, VPC/VNet, and subnets.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, IAM/RBAC, secrets management, vulnerability management, and secure infrastructure design.
- Experience in production troubleshooting, incident management, backups, disaster recovery, and high availability.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
- Familiarity with Helm, Ansible, Bicep/ARM templates.
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Hands-on knowledge of Prometheus & Grafana, ELK/Elastic Stack, Vault, Trivy, and SonarQube.
- Understanding and application of DevSecOps practices.

Candidates must have relevant professional experience; internships, academic projects, certifications, or training alone will not suffice. Practical production experience across Azure, GCP, and DigitalOcean is essential. The position requires full-time onsite presence at the Islamabad office. Only candidates meeting the minimum experience and mandatory cloud platform requirements will be considered.
