Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, deploy, maintain, and lead the implementation of cloud solutions across multiple public cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
- Participate in technology evaluation and reengineering initiatives to support strategic planning and continuous process improvement.
- Drive the implementation of technology direction, vision, and strategy to facilitate cloud adoption across the organization.
- Develop and refine future-state cloud architectures and roadmaps, incorporating architecture standards, guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Lead projects focused on expanding software-defined services and cloud-based offerings.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain automation tools that enable cloud infrastructure and services.
- Identify and resolve business-impacting issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Assess issue urgency and coordinate follow-up and resolution efforts, supporting service quality initiatives aimed at achieving “five nines” (99.999%) product availability.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization, including configuring CPU, memory, and disk partitions as necessary. Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and management of workload automation initiatives.
- Adhere to established Change Management and Problem Management policies, with a working knowledge of ITIL or other formal IT operations frameworks.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions across major public cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, standards, and best practices.
- Experience leading cloud-related projects and initiatives, including software-defined services.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining automation tools for cloud enablement.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex business and technical issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks, including Change and Problem Management processes.
- Hands-on experience with performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization in cloud or data center environments.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
