Cloud Infrastructure & Security Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure & Security Engineer to join our team at our Lahore office. This role involves managing and enhancing the security infrastructure across Microsoft and AWS environments to protect the organization’s applications, email systems, and cloud resources. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Security, Active Directory, web application security, email protection, penetration testing, and cloud security practices. This is an onsite position located near Siddiq Center, Gulberg 2.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and secure Microsoft Security environments and Active Directory, including user identities, access controls, authentication, and security policies.
- Implement and maintain Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions to safeguard applications and web services.
- Oversee email security measures to protect against phishing, spoofing, malware, and other email-based threats.
- Conduct penetration testing on applications to identify vulnerabilities and security gaps, followed by remediation efforts.
- Assess and address security vulnerabilities across systems and applications proactively.
- Manage AWS security infrastructure, configurations, and enforce cloud security best practices.
- Design, implement, and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions tailored for AWS environments.
- Monitor security events continuously, investigate potential threats, and respond appropriately.
- Perform regular security reviews and recommend improvements to existing controls and configurations.
- Maintain comprehensive security documentation, policies, configurations, and ensure compliance with audit requirements.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Microsoft Security, Cloud Security, or related cybersecurity roles.
- Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Security tools and Active Directory management.
- Practical knowledge of Web Application Firewall (WAF) implementation and administration.
- Strong understanding of email security frameworks and Microsoft email protection solutions.
- Experience conducting application penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS security services and cloud security best practices.
- Experience designing or managing AWS Disaster Recovery solutions.
- Solid understanding of identity and access management, security policies, and access controls.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate security issues and solutions.
- Ability to identify security gaps and implement effective improvements.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
