Cloud Solutions Architect

Grade L3 position based in Lahore, this role of Cloud Solutions Architect offers a unique opportunity to engage with senior stakeholders across diverse industries including BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and the Public Sector. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, leading discovery sessions and workshops to understand business needs and align cloud solutions that drive measurable outcomes. This role demands expertise in designing and architecting comprehensive Cloud, Hybrid, and On-Premises environments using technologies such as Oracle, VMware, AWS, Azure, OpenStack, and RedHat.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as a trusted advisor to CxOs and senior stakeholders, facilitating discovery sessions, workshops, and demos to capture requirements and align solutions with strategic business goals.
- Architect end-to-end solutions encompassing Cloud, Hybrid, and On-Premises infrastructures, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance across compute, storage, networking, and security workloads.
- Develop detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), sizing models, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI) analyses to support informed customer decision-making.
- Lead presales technical evaluations, conduct competitive analyses, and manage objection handling during RFP/RFQ processes.
- Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline, contributing directly to revenue growth through successful solution wins.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to position differentiated cloud solutions and close business opportunities.
- Deliver business cases, benefit realization plans, and adoption strategies to support cloud transformation initiatives.
- Advocate for cloud adoption and innovative operational expenditure models such as Managed Private Cloud, Hardware-as-a-Service, and outcome-based pricing.
- Enable partner ecosystems and customer teams by conducting training sessions, readiness workshops, and providing post-sale support to ensure customer success.

Required Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Cloud Infrastructure platforms including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, Azure, VMware VCF, and RedHat OpenShift.
- Hands-on experience with Data Security, Virtualization, Backup, and Disaster Recovery solutions.
- Proven ability to design and present enterprise-grade architectures across Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) models.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills to effectively engage with senior leadership.
- Demonstrated capability to perform TCO and ROI analyses and clearly articulate the business value of proposed solutions.
- A successful track record of winning large deals and contributing to revenue growth in presales or solution architect roles.
