We are seeking a skilled Beverage Bar Manager responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the beverage bar. This role involves crafting a variety of hot and cold specialty coffee drinks, mocktails, shakes, smoothies, and fresh juices while maintaining consistency in beverage quality. The ideal candidate will ensure the bar area remains clean, well-stocked, and organized to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso-based drinks, specialty coffees, cold brews, mocktails, fresh juices, and signature shakes according to established menu specifications.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and beverage dispensers, ensuring all equipment is routinely cleaned and in good working order.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, dairy products, fresh fruits, and beverage packaging supplies to avoid shortages or wastage.
- Ensure all beverages are presented attractively, using the correct glassware or cups, applying appropriate garnishes, and serving drinks at the proper temperature.
- Support the kitchen team by assisting with dessert plating and cold food preparation during off-peak hours or when covering barista shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Minimum Intermediate or High School Diploma.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience working as a barista or in beverage handling within specialty coffee shops, cafes, or hotel bars.
- Skills: Proficiency in espresso machine dial-in, latte art, precise recipe adherence, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Quality Management Standards
- Beverage delivery time consistently under 5 to 7 minutes from order placement.
- 100% compliance with beverage taste profiles, temperature requirements, and visual garnish standards.
- Daily cleaning of espresso machines and zero inventory leakage to maintain hygiene and cost control.
Compensation and Work Location
The monthly salary range for this position is Rs 40,000 to Rs 65,000. This is an in-person role requiring the candidate to work on-site at the designated location.
