Cold Call Agent

We are seeking a motivated Cold Call Agent to join our remote team. In this role, you will initiate calls with a polite greeting, clearly state your purpose, and allow leads sufficient time to respond. Your daily tasks include following assigned calling lists, making return calls when requested, and maintaining consistent calling activity. The goal is to identify interested leads through concise, relevant questions and pass them on to the sales team with detailed notes to facilitate productive conversations. You will receive coaching from a sales team lead to refine your phone approach and handle unfamiliar questions effectively. This position offers a monthly base salary with bonus opportunities and is fully remote, allowing you to work from home using call and lead management tools.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a steady flow of outgoing calls using assigned lists, organizing call order within a CRM such as HubSpot.
- Use a business phone system like Dialpad to introduce yourself and explain the purpose of each call.
- Ask brief questions to assess the lead’s needs and interest, listening carefully before determining if a sales conversation is appropriate.
- Clearly explain the offer using approved call scripts, answering questions within provided guidelines without making unsupported promises.
- Respect refusals and requests to stop calling, noting reasons for declines or preferred callback times.
- Transfer interested leads to the sales team with a clear summary and schedule follow-up conversations using tools like Google Calendar.
- Return calls to leads who request additional discussions, reviewing previous notes to avoid repetition.
- Accurately record call outcomes, comments, and next steps, ensuring notes are clear for team members.
- Identify and mark wrong numbers, duplicates, and do-not-call requests to maintain the quality of the calling list.
- Share daily call metrics and interested lead counts with the team, practicing approved call outlines and applying coaching feedback.
- Meet quality standards through polite communication, accurate note-taking, proper handoffs, and consistent daily call activity.

Required Qualifications:
- Professional spoken and written English, as calls are primarily with leads in the United States.
- Access to a computer, mobile phone, stable internet connection, and reliable electricity.
- No prior experience required; however, experience in phone work, customer contact, or outbound calling is preferred. Beginners willing to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to follow a call outline while maintaining a natural and respectful conversation style.
- Comfort with learning and using tools for lead management, calling, and scheduling.
- Strong listening skills, ability to ask clear questions, and explain offers accurately without adding unsupported information.
- Attention to detail when entering call results, contact updates, and reminders to ensure clarity for future actions.
- Patience with unanswered calls, refusals, and leads needing more time before engaging in an offer.
- A quiet workspace suitable for calls and willingness to seek guidance from the team lead when necessary.
