Cold calling & Social Media Intern

Marminova is assisting a Pakistani travel platform in recruiting a Business Development & Social Media Associate. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with people, is diligent in following up, and is comfortable communicating in both Urdu and English. The position involves a blend of business development activities and social media support, requiring strong interpersonal skills and an organized approach.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development and Onboarding (80%)
- Initiate cold calls to travel agencies to introduce the platform and assess mutual suitability.
- Follow up with interested agencies, addressing their questions and concerns.
- Guide new agencies through the registration and onboarding process.
- Maintain detailed records of conversations, next steps, and agency feedback to ensure smooth progress.

Social Media Support (20%)
- Assist in creating and publishing content related to the platform.
- Propose post ideas inspired by questions and feedback received from travel agencies.
- Support the team with routine updates and engagement activities across social media channels.

Required Qualifications

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Urdu and English.
- Comfortable initiating cold calls and engaging with new contacts.
- Patient and supportive when assisting users through new platform processes.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage follow-ups and meet deadlines reliably.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and the ability to contribute practical content ideas.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in sales, customer support, or onboarding roles.
- Knowledge of the travel industry or experience working with travel agencies.
- Experience managing social media accounts for a business or organization.
