BizWave Consultancy, a rapidly growing firm specializing in real estate development projects across the UAE, is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Collection Officer to join their team in Karachi. The role is critical in managing receivables and recovery operations for multiple development projects. The successful candidate will engage proactively with clients to ensure timely payments, maintain accurate records, and support overall cash flow objectives within a dynamic real estate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients regarding outstanding payments, clearly communicating payment schedules, reminders, and balances.
- Assist in negotiating payment plans when necessary to facilitate collections.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients to ensure smooth recovery processes and promptly address any queries related to invoices, dues, or payment confirmations.
- Escalate complex or disputed cases to senior management for resolution.
- Keep accurate records of receivables and client payment histories.
- Prepare daily and monthly collection reports to monitor progress and performance.
- Update internal systems with payment statuses and follow-up notes to maintain transparency.
- Coordinate with Finance, Sales, and Legal teams to monitor payment tracking and support legal follow-ups in cases of defaulters.
- Adhere to company policies and regulatory guidelines while assisting in the improvement of collection processes and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in collections or receivables management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Experience working within the UAE real estate or development sector is required.
- Proficiency in English is preferred.
- Availability to work on-site in Karachi.
