This position involves providing essential maternal and child health services to beneficiaries, focusing on antenatal and postnatal care. The role requires conducting regular ANC and PNC sessions, monitoring the pregnancy status of women visiting the facility, and managing normal deliveries for eligible beneficiaries. Additionally, the candidate will perform anthropometric measurements and offer nutritional counseling as needed to support the health and well-being of mothers and children.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct antenatal care (ANC) and postnatal care (PNC) sessions for women attending the facility.
- Monitor and ensure accurate assessment of pregnancy status for all women visiting the healthcare center.
- Manage and conduct normal deliveries for beneficiaries under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP).
- Perform anthropometric measurements to assess the nutritional status of mothers and children.
- Provide nutritional counseling and guidance based on assessment findings to promote healthy pregnancy and child development.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant medical or nursing qualification with experience in maternal and child health services.
- Proven ability to conduct ANC and PNC sessions effectively.
- Skilled in managing normal deliveries in a clinical setting.
- Competence in performing anthropometric measurements and providing nutritional counseling.
