Eila Solutions is seeking a Financial Crime Manager to join a leading fintech client based in Lahore or Kharian. This is an on-site role with working hours from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The successful candidate will work closely with the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) to manage and enhance the organization’s compliance framework related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF), sanctions, fraud, and other financial crime risks. This role requires a proactive professional who can assess risks, oversee investigations, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements across various business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and ongoing monitoring of AML, CTF, sanctions, and financial crime policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments related to financial crime across products, services, partnerships, and business operations.
- Stay updated on regulatory developments and provide guidance to relevant teams to maintain compliance.
- Assist the MLRO in preparing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and other regulatory submissions.
- Lead and oversee investigations related to financial crime, ensuring timely resolution of any compliance issues.
- Monitor and enhance transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and fraud detection systems to improve effectiveness.
- Prepare detailed financial crime risk reports and management information for senior leadership review.
- Coordinate with auditors, regulators, technology teams, and other stakeholders to support compliance initiatives.
- Support system implementations, upgrades, vendor management, and other financial crime technology projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Financial Crime, AML systems, Financial Crime Technology, or Risk Technology.
- Practical experience working with Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions Screening, and Fraud Detection platforms.
- Strong understanding of AML, CTF, sanctions, and financial crime regulations within the financial services sector.
- Proven experience in system implementation, upgrades, and managing vendor relationships.
- Excellent analytical, project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
