Computer Aided Design Drafter

We are seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman / 3D Draftsman to join our team on a part-time or remote basis. The ideal candidate will have over two years of experience and be proficient in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software such as Revit. You should have a strong understanding of how architectural designs translate into technically accurate and buildable drawings, with the ability to produce detailed working drawings that contractors and fabricators can rely on.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce precise plans, sections, elevations, and axonometric drawings that meet technical standards.
- Develop detailed working drawings and construction details that clearly communicate architectural intent.
- Translate design concepts and sketches into accurate, buildable drawings.
- Coordinate drawings to ensure consistency and identify any discrepancies or errors.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and organize drawings effectively for ease of use on-site.
- Understand architectural detailing, dimensions, levels, and materials to ensure drawings are practical and executable.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure drawings align with site execution requirements.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in architectural drafting or related roles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD with strong technical drafting skills.
- Experience with Revit or other 3D modeling software.
- Ability to produce axonometric drawings is essential.
- Demonstrated capability in preparing detailed working and construction drawings.
- Solid understanding of how drawings are implemented on construction sites.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate multiple drawings and identify inconsistencies or errors.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Candidates should be comfortable producing actual working drawings rather than just presentation renders.
- Experience working remotely or on a part-time basis is welcomed.
- Submission of a CV, portfolio, and actual working drawings is required.
- Your portfolio must include examples of floor plans, sections, elevations, axonometric drawings, construction/detail drawings, and Revit or 3D modeling work where applicable.
