Computer Operator

Located at Hall Road, Lahore, our electronics shop is seeking a responsible and customer-focused Computer Operator / POS Operator to oversee daily computer operations, billing, invoicing, and customer service. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using computers and POS systems, maintaining accurate sales and inventory records, and assisting customers with product inquiries. This role requires a confident and professional individual who can support sales activities while ensuring smooth shop operations. Candidates with prior sales experience and strong customer interaction skills will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate the POS system to generate invoices, process sales transactions, and manage daily billing activities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, customer information, and transaction details.
- Manage product entries, update pricing, maintain inventory records, and assist with stock management within the system.
- Greet customers professionally and provide guidance on available products and services.
- Assist customers with product selection, pricing inquiries, and general questions.
- Support the sales team by converting customer inquiries into successful sales.
- Coordinate with shop staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Handle cash and other payment records accurately as required.
- Perform basic computer tasks including data entry and digital record-keeping.
- Ensure all sales and invoices are correctly recorded and the POS system is regularly updated.

Required Qualifications

- Proficient computer skills with the ability to operate billing or POS software efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle customers professionally.
- Confident and presentable personality suitable for a retail environment.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and other common computer applications.
- Responsible, punctual, proactive, and hardworking approach to work.
- Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Previous experience in an electronics shop, retail sales, billing, or POS operations is advantageous.
- Salesmanship skills with the ability to persuade and assist customers effectively.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Candidates with prior sales experience and excellent customer dealing skills will be preferred.
- This is a full-time position with working hours from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
- The monthly salary range is Rs25,000 to Rs40,000, based on experience and performance.
- The position requires reliable commuting or relocation to Lahore before starting work.
- The role is based on-site at the electronics shop, ensuring direct interaction with customers and team members.
