Computer Science Lecturer

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Computer Science Lecturer to join the academic team at NCBA&E, Front Lane Campus, Lahore. This full-time role demands a dedicated professional with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine passion for teaching and fostering student development. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering high-quality education, supporting students’ academic growth, and contributing to the ongoing enhancement of the department’s programs.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and informative lectures in Computer Science and related subjects, ensuring that course content is clear and accessible. Prepare detailed lesson plans, presentations, practical exercises, and other course materials to support effective learning. Conduct assessments, quizzes, assignments, and examinations to monitor and evaluate student progress regularly. Provide guidance to students in programming, software development, and practical project work, helping them apply theoretical concepts in real-world scenarios. Supervise student projects and offer academic support throughout their completion to ensure quality outcomes. Maintain accurate academic records and ensure timely submission of course outlines and related documentation. Actively participate in departmental meetings, academic activities, and university events to stay connected with the academic community. Contribute to curriculum development and participate in initiatives aimed at continuous academic improvement.

Required Qualifications
A Master’s degree (MS) or MPhil in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field is essential. Candidates must have a strong understanding of core Computer Science concepts. Proficiency in programming languages, databases, and software development methodologies is required. Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills are necessary to effectively engage and support students.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Prior teaching experience is preferred and will be considered an advantage. Relevant industry experience is also valued and will strengthen the candidate’s application. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs60,000 to Rs80,000. The work location is on-site at the NCBA&E Front Lane Campus in Lahore.
