We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to design and deliver an engaging curriculum that meets the diverse needs of students across various grade levels. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology education and skilled in creating a supportive learning environment that fosters curiosity, digital literacy, and critical thinking. This role involves not only teaching fundamental computer skills but also collaborating with faculty to integrate technology into other subjects and leading extracurricular activities related to computing.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement a comprehensive computer science curriculum tailored to students' grade levels and abilities.
- Teach foundational computer concepts including basic operations, coding, word processing, spreadsheets, and other essential applications.
- Create a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages active student participation and curiosity.
- Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, tests, and assignments, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Stay current with technological advancements and continuously adapt teaching methods to incorporate new tools and techniques.
- Support students in developing strong digital literacy and critical thinking skills essential for the modern world.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate technology into various subject areas and support interdisciplinary projects.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular computer clubs or related activities to enhance students’ learning experiences beyond the classroom.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience as a computer teacher or in a similar educational role.
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals and effective teaching methodologies.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and software applications relevant to the curriculum.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage students.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and individual student needs.
- Strong organizational skills and effective classroom management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or licensure as required by the local educational authority.
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a classroom environment.
