About the Role We are looking for a Construction Estimator / Takeoff Specialist to join our team and assist with construction estimating, architectural drawing review, quantity takeoffs, measurements, and bid preparation.The ideal candidate should have practical experience working with construction/architectural drawings and Bluebeam Revu, with the ability to accurately measure project quantities and prepare professional estimates.
Key Responsibilities- Review architectural drawings, plans, specifications, and project documents.
- Perform accurate material and quantity takeoffs.
- Use Bluebeam Revu to measure areas, lengths, quantities, and counts.
- Prepare detailed construction estimates and bid proposals.
- Identify project scope, materials, labor requirements, and discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain Excel-based estimating and quantity sheets.
- Review drawings for missing information, conflicts, and scope gaps.
- Compare drawing revisions and incorporate addenda into estimates.
- Assist with material and labor pricing.
- Prepare organized, bid-ready estimates.
- Communicate with the internal team regarding project scope, quantities, and pricing.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in construction estimating or quantity takeoffs.
- Practical experience reading architectural and construction drawings.
- Experience using Bluebeam Revu for takeoffs and measurements.
- Knowledge of construction materials and basic construction processes.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal English communication.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- US construction estimating experience is preferred.
