Construction Project Manager - TJ / 1888453

Our client, Haier, is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager based in Lahore to oversee building construction and maintenance projects within industrial and factory environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction, facility management, and project leadership. This role involves managing a team of 20 professionals and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Construction Project Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining Haier’s infrastructure excellence by applying expertise in AutoCAD, building codes, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices, while effectively managing vendor relationships and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the review, coordination, and approval of Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) structural and civil designs, ensuring adherence to relevant codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Develop and drive project execution plans by creating schedules, setting milestones, and managing resources including manpower, machinery, and materials efficiently.
- Provide technical support to commercial activities such as Requests for Quotations (RFQs), bidding processes, cost estimation, vendor evaluation, and budget control to optimize project costs.
- Enforce quality assurance and HSE standards through regular site inspections, material verification, and prompt resolution of construction and safety-related issues.
- Coordinate and monitor site teams, Project Management Consultants (PMC), contractors, and management, tracking progress, addressing challenges, and delivering timely project updates and reports.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in civil construction project management, particularly within industrial or factory settings.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, building codes, and HSE regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Expertise in contract negotiation, budgeting, cost control, and handling complex project documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
