We are seeking a dependable Construction Site Supervisor to manage daily operations at our construction site located in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Block 6, Karachi. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing labor and subcontractors, ensuring that work progresses according to schedule, and providing regular updates to management. This role requires hands-on supervision to maintain quality standards, safety compliance, and efficient resource management. The working hours are from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a monthly salary range of PKR 35,000 to 40,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site activities, including labor and subcontractors, to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure all work complies with project drawings, specifications, and timelines.
- Monitor material deliveries, manage stock levels, and track material usage on site.
- Inspect work quality regularly and identify any defects early to prevent delays.
- Enforce basic safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide daily progress reports to management, including photographic evidence of work completed.
- Maintain accurate attendance and work records for all site personnel.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of prior experience in construction site supervision or related site work.
- Basic knowledge of civil construction processes, finishing works, and construction materials.
- Ability to confidently manage labor teams and coordinate with contractors.
- Punctual, honest, and committed to being present on site throughout the working day.
- Proficient in basic smartphone use, including WhatsApp and taking photos for reporting purposes.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Candidates residing in or near Gulshan-e-Iqbal will be given preference due to proximity to the site.
- This is an in-person role requiring full-time presence at the work location.
- Competitive salary package within the range of PKR 35,000 to 40,000 per month.
