Construction Store Manager

Takmeel Square (Pvt.) Ltd. is looking for a skilled and experienced Construction Store Manager to oversee materials and inventory control at construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing construction materials and site store operations independently, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and efficiency. This role demands a professional who goes beyond routine storekeeping, with a deep understanding of construction inventory management and the ability to maintain operational transparency. Candidates with only retail or general administrative experience will not be considered, as this position requires specific expertise in construction-site store management.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete inventory process at construction sites, including receiving, storing, issuing, documenting, and reconciling materials.
- Monitor material consumption to prevent wastage and unauthorized movement.
- Maintain stock accuracy through periodic audits and physical stock verification.
- Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with procurement and construction teams to resolve issues.
- Prepare detailed and reliable inventory reports to support project operations.
- Collaborate closely with project engineers, procurement personnel, and site supervisors to ensure material availability and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience managing construction site inventory.
- Proven expertise in handling various construction materials such as cement, steel, electrical and plumbing supplies, finishing materials, and site equipment.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, stock reconciliation, Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), material requisitions, stock ledgers, and inventory reporting.
- Experience in conducting physical stock verifications, managing discrepancies, and coordinating with multiple teams on inventory control.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with inventory software is advantageous.
- Competitive salary starting at PKR 80,000 per month, negotiable based on experience and competence.
