Content & Community Manager

Setlist.ID is an innovative platform that allows users to paste DJ mixes from SoundCloud, YouTube, or Mixcloud and receive a full timestamped tracklist complete with BPM, key, streaming links, and options to export to Tidal or Apple Music. Our primary audience includes DJs, producers, and electronic music enthusiasts, predominantly located in the US, UK, and Germany. Developed by Skylight Studio, a small remote team spread across Miami, Barcelona, and Pakistan, Setlist.ID is rapidly growing and carving out its niche in the electronic music community.

Key Responsibilities
You will take full ownership of Setlist.ID’s online content and its presence within the electronic music scene. This role blends music-focused writing, graphic design, and video editing. Your daily tasks will include managing and growing our Instagram, TikTok, and Reddit accounts—planning, writing, posting, and engaging with followers. Since these channels are just starting, you will have the creative freedom to shape their voice and style.

You will write artist profiles and blog articles about DJs, sets, and labels, contributing authentic and engaging content. Participation in Reddit and other DJ communities will be as a genuine member rather than a branded account, helping to build organic connections. Starting from the second month, you will develop targeted lists of labels, music blogs, and DJs, conduct research, and draft outreach communications. While pitches will be sent under the founder’s name, you will handle the groundwork and follow-up.

Tracking your progress is essential; you will set weekly targets and report on your results, including what strategies didn’t work and how you plan to adjust. The focus is on growth and continuous reflection rather than perfection.

Required Qualifications
Excellent written English skills are essential, as your work will be read by DJs, labels, and editors primarily in the US, UK, and Germany. A genuine passion for music is important, with a preference for familiarity with electronic music, DJs, and the broader scene. You must write in your own authentic voice—AI-generated content is not accepted.

Proficiency in Canva and CapCut (or similar tools) is required to create carousels, quote cards, short-form videos, and blog headers, all aligned with our existing brand kit. You should be proactive in identifying when a strategy isn’t working and willing to pivot accordingly. This is a full-time position based in Pakistan.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
It is advantageous if you DJ, produce music, or already write about music professionally or as a hobby. Experience growing social media accounts such as Reddit, Instagram, or TikTok from a small base is also highly valued.

You will work directly with the founder, eliminating layers of management, which means your ideas will be heard and implemented quickly. This role offers significant ownership, allowing you to shape how Setlist.ID is perceived in the electronic music scene from an early stage rather than maintaining an existing framework.

The product is experiencing rapid growth, doubling its visitors every 3-4 weeks. If the channels you develop gain traction, there is strong potential for this role to expand into leading content and partnerships, complete with increased budget and team support.
