The Information Technology Support Specialist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore. This position requires providing technical support for desktop computers, software applications, and network connectivity to ensure minimal downtime for end users. The specialist will handle help desk tickets, diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, and escalate complex problems when necessary. Daily responsibilities include installing and configuring systems, performing routine maintenance, documenting solutions, and advising users on best practices. The role also involves collaborating with instructors and administrative staff to support training labs and maintain a stable, secure IT environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktop computers, software applications, and network connectivity to minimize user downtime.
- Respond promptly to help desk tickets, diagnose issues, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and escalate when required.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals, ensuring optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates to hardware and software systems.
- Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and system configurations for future reference.
- Guide end users on best practices and proper use of IT resources.
- Collaborate with instructors and administrative teams to support training labs and maintain a secure IT infrastructure.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in Technical Support and Help Desk roles, preferably in educational or corporate environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network-related issues, including incident diagnosis and resolution.
- Practical knowledge of desktop computer installation, configuration, upgrades, and peripheral setup.
- Foundational understanding of IT concepts such as operating systems, networking, and security best practices.
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, work independently, and collaborate within a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
