Content & Social Media Intern | Full time | Onsite - Karachi

Brand Republic is seeking a creative and motivated Content & Social Media Intern to join our team onsite in Karachi. This full-time internship offers a hands-on opportunity to develop skills in content writing, social media management, content planning, and creative marketing. Over the course of three months, you will work closely with designers, video editors, and the marketing team to create engaging digital content for both our in-house brand and client projects. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy writing, stay updated on social media trends, think creatively, and are eager to learn how content functions across various brands and platforms. There is potential for permanent employment based on performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Write social media captions, marketing copy, and other short-form digital content.
- Assist in creating weekly and monthly content calendars for company and client social media accounts.
- Brainstorm fresh ideas for social media posts, Reels, carousels, campaigns, and branding activities.
- Research relevant topics, competitors, industry trends, and audience interests.
- Help develop hooks, concepts, and basic scripts for Reels and short-form videos.
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and publishing content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
- Adapt content ideas and writing styles to suit different brands, audiences, and campaign goals.
- Coordinate with graphic designers and video editors to bring content ideas to life.
- Review and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Monitor social media trends and suggest creative ways to improve engagement.
- Support the team with daily content needs and ongoing client projects.

Required Qualifications
- 0 to 6 months of experience in content writing, social media, digital marketing, or related fields. Fresh graduates and candidates with relevant academic, freelance, or personal projects are encouraged to apply.
- Strong English writing and communication skills.
- Genuine interest in content writing, social media management, and digital marketing.
- Ability to brainstorm creative ideas and write engaging captions or short-form content.
- Basic understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and current social media trends.
- Willingness to learn content calendar development, content planning, and social media publishing.
- Strong research skills, attention to detail, and openness to feedback.
- Ability to work collaboratively, manage tasks, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Familiarity with Canva or similar creative tools is a plus.
- Writing samples, university projects, personal content, or a portfolio are highly encouraged. Previous corporate experience is not required if you can demonstrate writing ability and creative thinking.
- Monthly stipend ranging from Rs10,000 to Rs15,000.
