Content Writer (Mid-Level)

Social Gravity is a digital marketing agency specializing in trades and construction businesses, headquartered in Dublin with clients across Ireland and the UK. The Karachi office serves as the delivery hub supporting these projects. We are seeking a skilled content writer to create compelling and effective content that drives inquiries for our clients. This role involves producing service pages, location pages, blogs, landing page copy, ad copy, and content for our internal brands. Additionally, you will craft content optimized for AI search platforms like ChatGPT and Google AI, ensuring our clients are prominently featured when users seek local tradesmen. You will collaborate closely with SEO, paid ads, and web teams, working to clear briefs with a strong focus on conversion.

Key Responsibilities
- Write service and location pages that rank well in search engines and convert visitors into leads, managing volume and deadlines efficiently.
- Produce blogs and guides targeting genuine search intent rather than focusing solely on word count.
- Develop landing page and ad copy for active Google and Meta advertising campaigns.
- Create content optimized for AI visibility, including clear answers, well-structured text, and credible expertise signals to ensure AI tools cite our clients accurately.
- Write in both Irish and UK English, adapting tone and style to suit each client’s brand and service area.
- Edit and enhance existing pages that are underperforming to improve rankings and engagement.
- Collaborate with the SEO team on briefs, keyword integration, internal linking strategies, and heading structures.
- Independently write titles, meta descriptions, and alt text to support SEO goals.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience writing marketing or SEO content, with verifiable published work available for review.
- Proficiency in writing in Irish or UK English, with the ability to switch between them consistently and accurately.
- Strong understanding of search intent, keyword usage, headings, internal linking, and on-page SEO best practices.
- Ability to explain technical trade topics clearly and accessibly for non-technical audiences.
- Expertise in conversion-focused writing, including crafting headlines, calls to action, objection handling, and effective page structures.
- Quick research skills to learn unfamiliar industries and accurately capture essential details.
- Capacity to handle high volume and tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics 4, or Google Search Console is advantageous but not mandatory.

As an AI-first agency, Social Gravity integrates AI tools into daily workflows for research, outlining, drafting, and editing. While AI assists the writing process, all final content is the writer’s responsibility to ensure accuracy and relevance—no AI-generated inaccuracies or fabricated information are permitted.

This is an on-site position based in Karachi, working Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The starting salary is competitive, beginning at Rs 60,000 per month.

Applicants will be asked to provide three recent published content samples they authored, confirm their availability for the on-site schedule, and state their expected monthly salary in PKR.
