We are seeking a skilled Contentful Developer with 3 to 8 years of experience to join our offshore team. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining content models, integrations, and frontend delivery for our headless CMS platform. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with architects, designers, developers, QA teams, and content authors to deliver scalable, high-performance digital experiences and support content management across multiple digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and configure Contentful content models, entries, spaces, environments, locales, and workflows.
- Design and implement reusable modular content structures, including references and nested content models.
- Build custom Contentful applications, extensions, integrations, webhooks, and automation tools.
- Integrate Contentful APIs (CDA, CMA, REST, GraphQL) with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular and Next.js.
- Manage multi-environment and multi-locale content architectures effectively.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to optimize content delivery, rendering, caching, and overall performance.
- Support content migration, data transformation, mapping, and validation from legacy CMS platforms and product catalogs.
- Develop efficient solutions to retrieve nested content structures and multiple related content types, including advanced GraphQL queries.
- Troubleshoot issues related to content delivery, API integration, and rendering.
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and performance optimizations.
- Utilize AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Windsurf to enhance development productivity and code quality.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and production support activities.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 8 years of CMS/web development experience with strong hands-on expertise in Contentful, including content types, references, modular and nested content, locales, environments, and validation rules.
- Deep understanding of headless CMS architecture and composable digital experience platforms.
- Proficiency with Contentful APIs (CDA, CMA, REST, GraphQL).
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
