We are seeking a reliable and experienced Home Cook to prepare fresh, home-style meals twice daily. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Pakistani cuisine, with the ability to maintain kitchen cleanliness and efficiently manage daily cooking tasks. This role requires attention to hygiene, punctuality, and the ability to follow household preferences and instructions.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare fresh meals twice a day, typically lunch and dinner, or as required by the household.
- Cook everyday Pakistani dishes such as salan, daal, sabzi, rice, roti, and other traditional home-style meals.
- Customize meal preparation according to the household’s specific preferences and dietary instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen before, during, and after cooking to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
- Properly store food items and leftovers to prevent spoilage and maintain freshness.
- Monitor kitchen supplies and groceries, notifying the household when items need to be replenished.
- Minimize food waste by using ingredients responsibly and efficiently.
- Take care of kitchen utensils, appliances, and cooking equipment, ensuring they are clean and well-maintained.
- Adhere to food safety standards and ensure meals are prepared and served on time.

Required Qualifications

- Previous experience as a home cook or in a similar cooking role is essential.
- Strong knowledge and practical skills in preparing Pakistani home-style cuisine.
- Ability to independently prepare fresh, hygienic meals daily.
- Punctual, trustworthy, responsible, and well-organized with a professional attitude.
- Capable of following detailed household instructions and accommodating specific food preferences.

Working Conditions

The position is based at a private residence in Islamabad. The cooking schedule involves preparing meals twice daily. Specific working hours and weekly days off will be discussed during the interview process.

Compensation

The monthly salary for this role ranges from Rs35,000 to Rs40,000.

Work Location

This is an in-person position requiring the candidate to work on-site at the residence.
