Cost Estimator

A well-established and reputable leather products company based in Islamabad is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cost Estimator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in the fit-out or interior design industry and possess strong analytical and organizational abilities. This role requires someone who can accurately prepare cost estimates and quotations, review technical documentation, and collaborate effectively with internal teams and suppliers to support project success.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed cost estimates, quotations, and comprehensive project cost breakdowns.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and other project documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Calculate material quantities and estimate costs related to materials, labor, and other project expenses.
- Obtain and compare supplier quotations to secure competitive pricing.
- Maintain accurate records of cost estimates and supplier pricing for future reference.
- Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to gather necessary project information.
- Support tender preparation and ensure timely submission within agreed deadlines.
- Identify discrepancies or missing information in project documents and escalate issues as needed.
- Keep estimating records well-organized and ensure precision in all calculations.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in a fit-out or interior design company.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong understanding of AutoCAD, technical drawings, BOQs, and quantity take-offs.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, including proficiency in both written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Familiarity with estimation software, PDF tools, or ERP systems is considered an advantage.
