We are seeking a detail-oriented Costing Executive to support factory costing activities by accurately collecting, validating, recording, and reconciling production and cost data. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring precise cost tracking and reporting, contributing to effective financial management within the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and validate production, material, and process data from assigned factory areas to ensure accuracy.
- Record production quantities, material consumption, raw materials, components, parts, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods (FG) movements.
- Track labor hours, machine hours, wastage, rejection, rework, scrap, and abnormal losses as applicable.
- Validate material issuance against production output and investigate any discrepancies found.
- Maintain daily process-wise costing sheets, supporting schedules, and working papers for accurate cost monitoring.
- Reconcile costing records with production and warehouse documentation, promptly correcting any missing or incorrect information.
- Prepare daily operating and costing management information system (MIS) reports for assigned process areas.
- Support batch-wise and model-wise cost accumulation, including bill of materials (BOM) and material usage records.
- Identify unusual consumption, shortages, process losses, and other cost variances, reporting these to the Manager Costing.
- Assist in physical stock counts, inventory reconciliation, and month-end cost closing activities to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain accurate source documents and costing records for audit purposes and management review.
- Enter and validate relevant costing and production data in Odoo following its implementation.
- During the ERP transition, compare manual costing records with Odoo outputs and highlight discrepancies for resolution.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com, M.Com), Business Administration with Finance specialization (BBA Finance, MBA Finance), or equivalent professional qualifications such as ACMA or ACCA (student level acceptable).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in costing, factory accounts, production accounting, or manufacturing finance.
- Proven experience in product costing, material consumption analysis, inventory reconciliation, and production data management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
