The Country Manager (Technical Design & Operations) will oversee all operations of the Lahore-based team, focusing on managing design and data coordination services. This role requires ensuring strong financial performance, fostering team development, and maintaining compliance with international standards. The successful candidate will have extensive technical expertise in AutoCAD and construction or fabrication design, combined with proven leadership skills and commercial acumen. They will be responsible for aligning local operations with the broader global objectives of the company, reporting directly to the CEO (UK) and Director of Operations (NL). This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore, offering a competitive monthly salary based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the design, drafting, and data management teams based in Lahore, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in line with group-wide goals. Oversee financial performance, including budget management and monthly reporting. Implement and maintain effective business processes and quality management systems to uphold operational standards. Foster a high-performance, accountable, and positive team culture through recruitment, training, and mentoring of local staff. Collaborate closely with UK and EU management teams to align project deliverables, schedules, and key performance indicators. Represent the company locally with professionalism and integrity. The role also requires international travel to the UK and EU for meetings, coordination, and training purposes.
Required Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline is essential. Candidates must have a minimum of five years’ experience in a relevant industry, including at least three years in a leadership or management role. Strong technical knowledge of AutoCAD design processes, particularly in steelwork, fabrication, or construction, is required. Proven experience in managing financial and operational performance is critical. Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is mandatory, while proficiency in the local language is advantageous. The candidate must be able to travel internationally without restrictions.
