Crane Technician

We are seeking a skilled Crane Technician to join a reputable client based in Karachi. This is a full-time position offering a market-competitive salary package. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Mechanical Engineering along with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience. The role requires hands-on involvement in the maintenance and repair of cranes and heavy industrial equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on cranes, including EOT cranes, overhead cranes, and hoists.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Conduct inspections and diagnose faults in heavy industrial machinery.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and report any equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Support the installation and commissioning of new crane equipment as needed.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in crane maintenance and industrial mechanical maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of EOT cranes, overhead cranes, hoists, and other heavy industrial equipment.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on cranes.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and industry standards related to crane operations.
