We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Credentialing Specialist to join our Credentialing team. This is a full-time, in-person position with night shift hours from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately complete credentialing and enrollment applications for healthcare providers and practices.
- Track the progress of applications and provide regular updates to Client Managers and the Team Manager.
- Monitor and update provider portals to ensure information remains accurate and current.
- Maintain provider records both electronically and in physical folders.
- Assist in obtaining necessary documentation from providers to support credentialing processes.
- Prepare professional communications directed at providers, payers, and healthcare facilities.
- Understand how credentialing impacts billing, contracts, and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
- Investigate credentialing-related issues and develop effective solutions.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, payers, and credentialing representatives.
- Possess a basic understanding of government programs, Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), and commercial insurance enrollments.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in credentialing or a related field.
- Ability to work night shifts from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in managing electronic records and provider portals.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work full-time and on-site at our Rawalpindi office.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Knowledge of healthcare billing processes and the impact of credentialing on revenue cycle management is advantageous.
- Familiarity with government insurance programs and commercial insurance enrollment procedures is preferred.
