Credit Control Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Control Officer to join the finance team at Rech International. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing accounts receivable, supporting recovery operations, and performing daily bank reconciliations. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure timely payment collections and accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support recovery operations by following up with clients on overdue invoices through phone and email to ensure timely payments.
- Assist in analyzing aging reports, tracking daily receivables, and updating customer payment statuses within the system.
- Coordinate with Sales and Accounts teams to gather necessary documentation and help resolve basic invoice or pricing disputes.
- Perform daily and weekly bank reconciliations, promptly identifying and matching any unidentified entries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date receivable records, entering transactions into the ERP system efficiently.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or finance support roles.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP systems, with SAP experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and internal teams.
- High attention to detail, solid numerical aptitude, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
