Credit Risk Analyst

Bank Al-Habib is seeking a detail-oriented Credit Risk Analyst to join their team in Karachi on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in finance and credit concepts, coupled with analytical skills to assess the quality of the bank’s credit portfolio. This role involves researching industry trends and preparing insightful reports to support informed decision-making. Candidates with 1-3 years of experience in corporate or commercial banking, or relationship management, will be preferred, though fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assess the quality of the bank’s credit portfolio to ensure sound risk management.
- Conduct research on industry trends and prepare comprehensive reports to aid strategic planning.
- Analyze financial data to evaluate creditworthiness and identify potential risks.
- Collaborate with relationship managers and other stakeholders to gather relevant information for credit assessments.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to credit risk analysis.
- Utilize MS Office tools efficiently to prepare reports and presentations.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines in a dynamic work environment.

Required Qualifications:
- ACCA certification or a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Strong understanding of finance and credit principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and work under pressure.
