A leading Chinese technology company is seeking an experienced CS Core Planning Assistant Engineer to join their team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in CS core network monitoring, network design, project support integration, commissioning, and the acceptance of new nodes. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure the smooth operation and expansion of the CS core network.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network utilization and analyze growth trends across CS core network elements to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop a thorough understanding of end-to-end High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) for CS core products such as MSC, STPs, SVC, and HLR.
- Coordinate with telecom vendors including Huawei, Nokia, ZTE, and Ericsson, as well as contractors and internal departments, to evaluate vendor proposals and recommend the best technical solutions.
- Take ownership of network safety and ensure compliance with established standards and protocols.
- Provide support for project integration, commissioning, implementation, and the acceptance of new network nodes.
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the role and the organization.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience in the core network domain, with a focus on the CS (Circuit Switched) domain.
- Solid understanding of basic communication and data communication principles.
- Knowledge of CS core call flows and scenarios aligned with 3GPP, GSMA, IEEE, and ETSI standards.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting using internal and external tracing tools such as Wireshark.
- Familiarity with CS nodes including VMSC, GMSC, OSS, HSS, and SBC, along with protocols like SCCP, BSSAP, RANAP, SS7, SIGTRAN, M3UA, and MTP3.
- Ability to communicate effectively with junior technical customers regarding technical solutions, project plans, and progress updates.
- Strong analytical skills to accurately diagnose and resolve technical issues.
