A leading Chinese technology company is seeking an experienced CS Core Planning Assistant Engineer to join their team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in CS core network monitoring, network design, project support integration, commissioning, and acceptance of new network nodes. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage network safety, coordinate with multiple vendors, and support various phases of network projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network utilization and analyze growth trends across CS core network elements to ensure optimal performance.
- Understand and interpret end-to-end High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents for CS core products including MSC, STPs, SVC, and HLR.
- Collaborate closely with telecom vendors such as Huawei, Nokia, ZTE, and Ericsson, as well as contractors and internal teams, to evaluate vendor proposals and recommend the best technical solutions.
- Take ownership of network safety and ensure compliance with relevant standards and protocols.
- Provide support during project integration, commissioning, implementation, and the acceptance process of new network nodes.
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and grow within the role and the organization.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience in the core network domain, specifically focusing on the CS (Circuit Switched) network.
- Solid understanding of basic communication and data communication principles.
- Familiarity with CS core call flows and scenarios aligned with 3GPP, GSMA, IEEE, and ETSI standards.
- Strong troubleshooting skills utilizing various tracing tools, including Wireshark and other internal/external diagnostic utilities.
- Knowledge of CS network nodes such as VMSC, GMSC, OSS, HSS, and SBC, along with protocols including SCCP, BSSAP, RANAP, SS7, SIGTRAN, M3UA, and MTP3.
- Ability to communicate effectively with junior-level technical customers regarding solutions, project plans, and progress updates.
- Aptitude for solving technical problems through accurate analysis and fault localization.
