Huawei is seeking an experienced CS Core Planning Engineer to join their team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in circuit-switched (CS) core network planning, capacity analysis, network design, optimization, and project support integration. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure efficient network performance and seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network utilization, analyze growth trends, forecast traffic, and conduct capacity analysis across CS core network elements.
- Understand and interpret end-to-end High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) for CS core products such as MSC, STPs, SVC, and HLR.
- Recommend network optimization initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and enhancing service quality.
- Coordinate with telecom vendors including Huawei, Nokia, ZTE, and Ericsson, as well as contractors and internal teams, to evaluate vendor proposals and recommend optimal technical solutions.
- Define operational standards, review engineering packages, and drive continuous improvements in network deployment and monitoring processes.
- Take ownership of network safety and ensure compliance with relevant protocols.
- Support project integration activities including commissioning, implementation, and acceptance of new network nodes, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the core network domain, with a focus on the CS network.
- Solid understanding of basic communication and data communication principles.
- Expert knowledge of CS core call flows and scenarios aligned with 3GPP, GSMA, IEEE, and ETSI standards.
- Proficient troubleshooting skills using internal and external tracing tools, including Wireshark.
- In-depth knowledge of CS network nodes such as VMSC, GMSC, SBC, OSS, and HSS, along with protocols like SCCP, BSSAP, RANAP, SS7, SIGTRAN, M3UA, and MTP3.
- Strong ability to analyze customer requirements, manage expectations, and solve technical problems effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with mid-level technical customers regarding solutions, project plans, and progress updates.
