Compass Training and Consultancy is seeking a Customer Service Agent to join one of its client organizations. This role involves the daily management and maintenance of a high-volume product catalogue across Amazon and other marketplaces. The business operates under a branded resale and wholesale model, so the focus is on ensuring listing accuracy, compliance, pricing updates, and smooth operational execution rather than brand building or marketing efforts. The position is execution-oriented and reports directly to the Marketplace Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain extensive product listings across Amazon, eBay, and the company’s Magento-based website.
- Ensure all listings are accurate, complete, compliant, and correctly priced using existing brand assets.
- Regularly update product titles, bullet points, specifications, attributes, and pricing as needed.
- Perform bulk listing updates using flat files and structured templates.
- Monitor and resolve listing suppressions, errors, and missing attributes promptly.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy in catalogue changes to avoid suppressions, pricing errors, or loss of Buy Box.
- Operate daily within Amazon Seller Central to manage listings and catalogue data.
- Raise and manage cases with Amazon Seller Support related to listings, catalogue, and FBA issues.
- Support Account Health by addressing listing-level violations and warnings as assigned.
- Escalate complex or uncertain issues to the Marketplace Team Lead instead of making independent changes.
- Assist with FBA-related listing tasks, including SKU setup, stranded inventory resolution, and FBA error corrections.
- Monitor returns-related listing issues and escalate trends when necessary.
- Ensure consistency in listings and pricing across Amazon, eBay, and Magento platforms.
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational processes to maintain catalogue stability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience managing Amazon listings, preferably with large or complex catalogues.
- Strong daily working knowledge of Amazon Seller Central.
- Proficiency with flat files, bulk uploads, and listing templates.
- Basic understanding of Amazon listing policies and compliance requirements.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Detail-oriented, process-driven, and focused on execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing eBay listings.
- Familiarity with Magento-based e-commerce platforms.
- Previous experience working within a branded resale or wholesale Amazon model.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic e-commerce environment focused on operational excellence and catalogue accuracy. Candidates who are detail-focused and comfortable working within structured processes will thrive in this position.
