The company collaborates with leading technology partners such as Microsoft, AWS, and IBM to deliver cutting-edge cloud, AI, and enterprise solutions. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting the cybersecurity team in protecting digital assets, monitoring threats, investigating security incidents, and implementing measures to safeguard sensitive data. Interns will gain exposure to network and information security, risk assessments, and security audits while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing security alerts, logs, and incidents to identify potential threats.
- Support vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat detection activities.
- Help configure and maintain firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
- Participate in incident response, documentation, and risk mitigation efforts.
- Research emerging cybersecurity threats, tools, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to enhance overall system security.

Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of network security concepts, encryption methods, and common cyber threats.
- Familiarity with security tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, or Metasploit.
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows administration along with basic command-line operations.
- Understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a security team.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is advantageous.
- Awareness of cybersecurity standards like ISO 27001, NIST, or OWASP is a plus.
- Reliable commute to Islamabad or willingness to relocate before starting work is preferred.
- This is a full-time, in-person internship offering a monthly stipend ranging from Rs20,000 to Rs25,000.
