Cyber Security Manager

LMKR is undergoing a significant technological transformation and is seeking a visionary Cybersecurity Manager to lead its security evolution. This role will be pivotal in driving a comprehensive security transformation program that advances the company’s IT infrastructure into a secure, SaaS-driven environment. The successful candidate will oversee global internal security operations, coordinating distributed technical teams across multiple locations. The focus will be on continuously assessing, enhancing, and managing a proactive defense strategy based on a zero-trust, mobile-first, cloud-first, and AI-first framework. This includes securely integrating agentic AI technologies while ensuring strict adherence to international compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Security Transformation & Modernization:
Lead the strategic migration from legacy on-premises security controls to a modern cloud-native SaaS architecture. Implement a comprehensive Zero-Trust Architecture tailored for a highly mobile and globally distributed workforce. Promote a “security by design” culture by embedding security practices into cloud-first and mobile-first initiatives.

AI & Hybrid-Cloud Security:
Enforce security guardrails across hybrid-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and on-prem edge locations. Develop and maintain operational security controls for advanced agentic AI systems, ensuring data privacy, model integrity, and protection against AI-specific threats. Establish AI-native security controls that leverage machine learning to automate threat detection and response.

Global Security Operations (SecOps):
Oversee ongoing internal security operations, including threat hunting and incident response across all LMKR global offices. Manage cloud-native XDR, SIEM, and SOAR toolsets for endpoint, network, and cloud detection and response. Serve as the primary security liaison for distributed technical and engineering teams, ensuring consistent security standards worldwide. Lead incident response efforts, including investigations and remediation of security incidents affecting systems and applications.

Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC):
Drive and maintain rigorous compliance certifications, with a primary focus on ISO 27001 readiness and auditing processes aimed at automated continuous compliance. Conduct regular risk assessments and vendor security evaluations for new SaaS platforms. Maintain and enforce information security policies that align with modern technology landscapes without compromising business agility.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity roles, including at least 3 years in managerial or architectural positions overseeing security operations within large enterprises.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Proven experience leading legacy-to-cloud security transformations and implementing Zero-Trust frameworks.
- Deep expertise in hybrid-cloud security architectures and familiarity with adversarial machine learning, model robustness, and auditing solutions.
- Hands-on experience achieving and maintaining ISO 27001 certification. Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST CSF, CMMC, or DORA is advantageous.
- Strong command of modern SaaS security platforms including XDR, SIEM, IAM, SASE, CSPM, EASM, and CNAPP.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively across global executive and engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, AI/ML, or Data Science.
- Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) are required for candidates without a cybersecurity educational background.
- Preferred certifications include GIAC Machine Learning Engineer (MLE), OffSec AI Red Teamer (OSAI), and Claude Certified Architect (CCA).
