D365 Commerce Techno Functional Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce professional with over 8 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 / AX and deep hands-on expertise in D365 Commerce. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Commerce POS and Store Commerce development, Back Office customization, system administration, integrations, web development, and architecture design. This role requires an individual who can independently manage both the technical development aspects and the functional operations of the system, ensuring seamless performance and alignment with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and customize D365 Commerce POS and Store Commerce solutions, including POS extensions and integrations.
- Customize and enhance D365 Commerce Back Office functionalities to meet business requirements.
- Administer and manage D365 Commerce environments, including channels, stores, terminals, users, and configurations.
- Oversee and support daily Commerce functional processes and system operations to ensure smooth workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues, coordinating with relevant teams across Commerce components.
- Support Commerce integrations, deployments, system updates, and production operations to maintain system integrity.
- Design and implement integrations between D365 Commerce and other enterprise systems for seamless data flow.
- Perform web development and customization to support evolving D365 Commerce requirements.
- Contribute to the architecture design by developing scalable and reliable Commerce solutions tailored to business needs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective D365 Commerce implementations.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and provide ongoing support for deployed solutions.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 8 years’ experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 / AX, with strong hands-on expertise in D365 Commerce.
- Proficient in development using X++, C#, .NET, and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Practical experience with Commerce Runtime, Retail Server, POS / Store Commerce, Hardware Station, and Commerce Scale Unit.
- Solid understanding of D365 Commerce administration, functional configuration, and system management.
- Demonstrated skills in web development and customization related to Commerce solutions.
- Proven track record in system integrations, including third-party integrations within the Commerce ecosystem.
- Experience in architecture design and delivering scalable, maintainable Commerce solutions.
- Ability to independently manage both technical development and functional system operations.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
