Daily Audit Associate

The Daily Audit Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Karachi Division. This role involves conducting daily financial and operational audits across retail and convenience store locations. Responsibilities include reviewing transaction data, reconciling cash and inventory records, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The associate will prepare and analyze financial statements and audit reports, identify discrepancies, and escalate issues to management when necessary. Collaboration with store personnel and management is essential to maintain accurate record-keeping, support loss prevention initiatives, and contribute to ongoing improvements in financial controls and processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform daily financial and operational audits at retail and convenience store locations.
- Review transaction data and reconcile cash and inventory records to ensure accuracy.
- Verify adherence to company policies and compliance standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and audit reports to identify discrepancies or irregularities.
- Collaborate closely with store personnel and management to maintain accurate records.
- Support loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and control weaknesses.
- Escalate audit findings and issues to management promptly for resolution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in financial controls and auditing processes.

Required Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Finance with the ability to interpret and work with financial statements.
- Experience in auditing, including financial audits and compliance reviews.
- Demonstrated analytical skills to identify trends, discrepancies, and process gaps.
- High attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with auditing or reporting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in the Karachi Division and manage time effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards in all work activities.
