Daraz PK-Regional Payments Lead-Finance

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee regional payment operations from start to finish, ensuring that all payments are processed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will have a strong practical understanding of banking portals, payment file management, and bank uploads. This role requires expertise in Host-to-Host (H2H) integrations, MT940 formats, and seamless bank connectivity. A solid grasp of both manual and automated bank reconciliation processes is essential. Additionally, experience working with ERP systems and familiarity with finance and payment workflows will be critical to success. The position involves managing remote teams and collaborating with regional stakeholders, emphasizing strong communication and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end regional payment operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
- Utilize banking portals and manage payment files and bank uploads efficiently.
- Implement and maintain Host-to-Host (H2H) integrations and work with MT940 bank statement formats.
- Conduct both manual and automated bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Operate ERP systems to support finance and payment processes effectively.
- Lead and coordinate remote teams and engage with regional stakeholders to align operational goals.
- Maintain strong internal controls and continuously seek opportunities for process improvement.
- Drive automation initiatives and apply AI tools to optimize payment operations and reduce manual effort.
- Analyze data using advanced Excel skills and solve operational challenges through effective communication and problem-solving.

Required Qualifications

- 4 to 5 years of experience in payments, banking operations, treasury, or finance operations.
- MBA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification demonstrating strong financial acumen.
