Key Responsibilities
- Data Annotation: Accurately label, annotate, and perform quality assurance on diverse data types including images, text, audio, and video to support machine learning models. Proactively identify patterns, inconsistencies, and edge cases in data, and collaborate with annotation leads and AI/ML teams to enhance tools and processes.
- Quality Assurance & Technical Debugging: Debug Android applications using ADB/Scrcpy and analyze Android Studio logs. Utilize Chrome DevTools to inspect and troubleshoot web applications. Test and validate APIs by examining methods, headers, payloads, status codes, and response structures. Write basic SQL queries (SELECT, WHERE, JOIN) to extract and verify data from MySQL databases. Understand JSON structures and database schemas to independently investigate issues.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop scripts and small tools using JavaScript and/or Python to automate repetitive tasks, test cases, and API validations. Innovate solutions that improve team efficiency, even proactively without direct requests.
- Beyond the Job Description: Contribute ideas to improve internal tooling and workflows. Take on additional responsibilities as skills develop, with this role serving as a launchpad for broader career growth.
Required Qualifications
- Fresh graduate or early-career professional in a technology-related field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Self-starter with the ability to independently learn from documentation and tutorials.
- Critical thinker who questions unclear guidelines and seeks to improve processes rather than blindly following instructions.
- Comfortable working across multiple functions including data annotation, quality assurance, scripting, and analysis.
- Strong ownership mentality, treating tasks as problems to solve rather than tickets to close.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging both frontline team members and leadership.
- Flexibility to work various shifts (morning, evening, or night) based on business requirements.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts, annotation tools, or prior experience in QA or data-related roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
