Data Analyst Trainee

Programmers Force is seeking a motivated Data Analyst Trainee to transform raw data into meaningful insights that drive informed business decisions. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams across the organization to gather, analyze, and present data, create reports, and help identify trends, risks, and opportunities. This position offers structured training with dedicated mentor support and hands-on experience working with real business data. Successful trainees demonstrating strong performance will be considered for a full-time Data Analyst role.

Key Responsibilities

- Review verification data and perform detailed audits to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare comprehensive reports highlighting discrepancies and key insights.
- Research business-related questions and assist in developing data-driven recommendations.
- Write SQL queries for routine reporting tasks, building proficiency under guidance.
- Support commercial and cross-functional teams by fulfilling ad hoc data requests.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and potential opportunities.
- Monitor key performance metrics and promptly flag significant changes or anomalies.
- Provide feedback to enhance system accuracy, automation, and overall efficiency.
- Recommend process improvements based on data analysis and findings.
- Document queries, reports, and methodologies for team reference and reuse.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of SQL (and/or NoSQL) and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to clearly explain analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite at the Johar Town location in Lahore.

Compensation and Work Location

The position offers a monthly stipend ranging from Rs25,000 to Rs30,000. This is an in-person role based in Johar Town, Lahore.
