Data & Analytics Expert - Finance Systems

We are seeking a skilled Data & Analytics Expert to join the Finance Systems Squad at Telenor Shared Services Pakistan in Islamabad. Reporting to the Finance Systems Team Lead, you will play a critical role in developing and operating data integration, warehousing, and analytics solutions using Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). This position requires familiarity with Agile methodologies and involves close collaboration with ERP teams to support cloud-based Oracle Fusion ERP and its integrations. You will contribute to delivering efficient financial reporting and analytics solutions that meet customer expectations and service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions on Oracle ADW, sourcing data from Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle EBS R12.x, and other systems.
- Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using ODI, including scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting data load failures.
- Collaborate with application teams, developers, and business users to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions.
- Develop dashboards, reports, datasets, and data flows within Oracle Analytics Cloud.
- Perform performance tuning and monitoring of ADW, ODI jobs, and OAC content to ensure optimal system operation.
- Liaise with Oracle support for issue resolution and system improvements.
- Fix application and code bugs as they arise.
- Conduct ad hoc data extraction and report development to support business needs.
- Extract and report Fusion ERP data using BICC, OTBI, and BI Publisher when required.
- Provide technical support for data warehousing, integration, and analytics projects, ensuring delivery against KPIs and SLAs.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, with a technical understanding of Financials and Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in data warehousing and business intelligence development, with hands-on expertise in Oracle ADW, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and Oracle Data Integrator.
- Strong skills in Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse including schema design, data loading, SQL/PL-SQL development, and performance tuning.
- Proficient in Oracle Data Integrator for mappings, packages, load plans, knowledge modules, scheduling, and monitoring.
- Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud for creating datasets, data flows, dashboards, and semantic models.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, dimensional data modeling (star schema), and ETL/ELT best practices.
- Good communication skills and proficiency in English.
- Ability to work independently, manage deliverables, and adapt to diverse cultures and multiple time zones.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including public holidays and off days.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion technical tools such as BICC, OTBI, BI Publisher, REST/SOAP APIs, and ADF Desktop Integrator.
- Knowledge of Oracle Financials, Supply Chain, and Projects data.
- Exposure to Oracle EBS R12.2 is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications in Oracle Analytics Cloud, Autonomous Database, or ODI are a plus.
