Data Analytics Instructor

Edversity, a division of the Rapidev Group of Companies based in Multan, offers practical, industry-focused IT training aimed at preparing young individuals for careers and freelancing opportunities in technology. As part of this initiative, we conduct in-person classes designed to develop essential IT skills. We are currently seeking a Data Analytics Instructor to join our team full-time onsite. This role involves teaching trainees how to clean, analyze, and visualize data effectively, enabling them to transform raw information into actionable business insights. The instructor will lead daily lectures and hands-on labs using real-world datasets, guiding beginners from basic spreadsheet skills to creating professional dashboards.

The trainees primarily consist of fresh graduates, final-year students, industry newcomers, and individuals with some prior experience. Many will have limited practical exposure, so the instructor must be able to explain concepts clearly in both English and Urdu, starting from foundational principles and gradually building their confidence to complete real projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver daily lectures and practical lab sessions following the approved curriculum.
- Simplify complex data concepts for trainees with little or no prior analytics experience.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, presentation slides, datasets, assignments, and quizzes.
- Develop case studies based on real business domains such as sales, HR, finance, and e-commerce.
- Mentor trainees through mini-projects and a final capstone project.
- Monitor attendance, assess trainee progress, and submit regular reports to the program management team.
- Conduct additional support sessions for trainees who require extra help.
- Provide guidance on building analyst portfolios, CV preparation, and job application strategies.
- Assist with assessments, audits, and program reviews to maintain quality standards.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Power BI; familiarity with Python (especially Pandas) for data manipulation.
- Strong understanding of data cleaning, modeling, and visualization techniques.
- Ability to communicate numerical insights clearly in both English and Urdu.
- Patience and a genuine passion for teaching beginners and helping them grow.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Certifications such as Microsoft PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst) or Google Data Analytics are highly desirable.
- Experience with Tableau or Looker Studio is an advantage.
- Previous experience in teaching, training, or mentoring roles is preferred.
