Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable data architectures that support advanced analytics, AI, and business intelligence initiatives.
- Define data models and establish data standards to ensure consistency and quality across systems.
- Oversee data integration workflows across multiple platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and accessibility.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, analytics, and business teams to translate requirements into effective data solutions.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with relevant governance standards.
- Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to enhance data architecture and processes.
- Contribute to the development of architectural roadmaps aligned with business goals.
- Create and maintain documentation and guidelines related to data usage, governance, and best practices.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi.

Required Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Data Architecture and Data Modeling, with proven experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable data solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and Data Warehousing, including familiarity with modern data platforms and cloud-based solutions.
- Solid knowledge of Data Governance practices, encompassing data quality, metadata management, access controls, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering, such as Python, Scala, or Java.
- Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases, data lake architectures, and analytics or business intelligence tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicate complex technical concepts clearly, and document data architectures and standards thoroughly.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience in AI/ML or advanced analytics environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is beneficial.
