Key Responsibilities
As a Data Editor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of TV and streaming information. Your tasks will include researching and verifying details about movies, series, episodes, and other content. You will create, update, and maintain records in our database, ensuring metadata such as titles, synopses, genres, cast and crew information, and release details are correct. Identifying and correcting missing or inconsistent data will be a key part of your role. You will use reliable online sources to validate and enrich content, follow internal editorial guidelines, and uphold quality standards. Working efficiently with large volumes of data while maintaining high accuracy is essential. Collaboration with colleagues and other teams will be necessary when clarifications or further investigations are needed. You will also be expected to learn new tools, processes, and content standards as projects evolve.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must be located in Pakistan and possess exceptional written and spoken English skills. A highly structured working style with outstanding attention to detail is critical—you should be able to spot errors before others do. Comfort with data, computers, and databases is essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. We seek individuals with a strong drive to succeed and a willingness to contribute actively from day one. A genuine passion for our product and the impact of great metadata on the industry is important, along with a strong interest in TV, movies, streaming platforms, and entertainment content.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Preferred candidates may have completed higher education, diplomas, technical studies, or university degrees in relevant fields such as Business, Data, or Media, or possess equivalent professional experience. Experience in media, broadcasting, streaming, or the entertainment industry is a plus. This role reports to the Editorial Project Manager and is offered as a freelance collaboration. The position is remote and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week. Compensation can be up to €450 per month based on full-time allocation. Please note that only CVs submitted in English will be considered.
