Data Entry Operator

Action Against Hunger (ACF), a global humanitarian organization dedicated to ending world hunger, is seeking motivated Data Entry Operators for a short-term contract of 12 days. The role supports data collection and management for a Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM) Survey under the Anticipatory Response Project in District Buner, Pakistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate data entry of PDM and Endline assessment data, ensuring data quality and adherence to organizational protocols. This position requires attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The daily salary for this role is 3947 PKR.

Key Responsibilities

Data Entry:
- Participate in all mandatory training sessions and daily debriefings.
- Verify the quality of data before entry and report any issues to the immediate supervisor.
- Monitor and communicate progress on data entry timelines.
- Enter data accurately from various tools in the agreed-upon format.
- Perform data cleaning and validation to ensure accuracy.
- Summarize entered data and prepare reports.

Data Analysis:
- Develop statistical tables to organize and cross-reference data.
- Prepare analytical reports based on data findings.
- Suggest improvements to data collection methods for enhanced accuracy and efficiency.

Data Filing:
- Organize and file all data collection tools and electronic data.
- Regularly save data entries and statistical results to prevent data loss.
- Maintain both hard copy and digital files in an orderly manner.

Compliance with Organizational Policies:
- Fully understand and implement ACF’s Gender Equality, Child Protection, and Safeguarding policies.
- Conduct all activities with a focus on gender inclusion and child protection.
- Contribute to creating an inclusive office environment free from discrimination based on gender or manageable disabilities.
- Adhere to COVID-19 and other safety protocols during fieldwork.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in data entry, preferably within development or humanitarian projects.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with baseline assessments, surveys, or monitoring and evaluation (M&E) data is considered an asset.
