We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized female Data Entry Operator to join our team as a University Data & Program Research Executive. This role involves researching universities, academic programs, intakes, and admission options based on specific criteria, and accurately maintaining this information within the company’s Excel and CSV databases. The ideal candidate will have strong data-entry skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, and the ability to manage large volumes of data with precision and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research to identify suitable universities and academic programs according to given requirements.
- Explore university websites, admission portals, and other reliable online sources to gather accurate and up-to-date information.
- Search for programs based on country, degree level, field of study, intake, and other specified criteria.
- Download and verify university and program details from approved sources before entering them into the company database.
- Accurately transfer data into the company’s required Excel/CSV formats, ensuring consistency and adherence to company standards.
- Maintain and regularly update university and program databases, organizing information by country, university, degree level, program/discipline, intake, campus/location, admission requirements, application status, and other relevant categories.
- Review data entries to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency; identify and remove duplicates and correct errors as needed.
- Maintain proper file and folder management, including naming conventions and organized storage for easy access by team members.
- Monitor university websites and admission portals for new programs, updated intakes, and changes, updating the database accordingly.
- Coordinate with the Processing Team to clarify any missing or conflicting information and support additional university research and data management tasks as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Basic understanding of CSV files, spreadsheets, and data formatting.
- Fast and accurate typing and data-entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while handling large volumes of data.
- Basic computer and internet navigation skills, including familiarity with university websites and admission portals.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to follow standardized processes and instructions.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn new systems, including university admission portals and internal company databases.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong competencies in accuracy, data management, research, time management, organization, problem-solving, computer literacy, teamwork, and reliability. Comfort with repetitive data-entry tasks, navigating multiple websites, comparing information from various sources, meeting deadlines, and maintaining confidentiality is essential.
This is a full-time, in-person position offering a monthly salary ranging from Rs18,000 to Rs20,000. Fresh graduates as well as candidates with relevant experience in data entry, research, education consultancy, or university processing are encouraged to apply.
