Data Manager – Data & Commercial Intelligence

This role is focused on enhancing and expanding data capabilities across various domains including data quality, research, analytics, automation, and AI-driven commercial intelligence. Positioned at the crossroads of data operations and commercial insight, the successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and improving existing datasets, researching and generating new data, validating trustworthy information, automating manual tasks, and transforming data into actionable commercial opportunities. The work follows a continuous cycle of data cleaning, creation, validation, automation, and delivering commercial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean, validate, and enrich datasets by identifying and correcting missing or inaccurate information.
- Research and source relevant data from both internal and external channels.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within CRM and ERP systems.
- Develop and implement data-quality standards and establish repeatable processes.
- Identify repetitive tasks suitable for automation and enhance those processes accordingly.
- Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reporting tools, and business intelligence solutions.
- Collaborate closely with IT and commercial teams on data-driven and AI-enabled initiatives.
- Conduct research on potential businesses, customers, assets, and commercial opportunities.
- Convert raw data into qualified commercial insights that drive business value.

Required Qualifications

- Educational background in Data Science, IT, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Excel and strong data-handling skills.
- Experience working with datasets, databases, CRM, or ERP systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong research capabilities.
- Solid analytical and logical thinking skills.
- Clear and effective communication skills in written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
