Data Migration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Data Migration Specialist with over three years of experience in data migration, system integration, and backend data transfer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in APIs, integrations, and managing data across multiple systems. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure seamless and secure data movement while collaborating effectively with technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and execute data migration and data transfer between various systems and platforms.
- Design and maintain system integrations using APIs and other integration techniques.
- Collaborate with backend teams to guarantee accurate, secure, and efficient data movement.
- Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation during migration projects.
- Troubleshoot integration and data transfer issues to maintain smooth system-to-system communication.
- Coordinate with technical teams to understand data structures, requirements, and integration workflows.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the migration process.
- Document migration processes, integration workflows, and technical requirements comprehensively.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Migration, System Integration, or a related technical role.
- Hands-on experience with API integrations, including REST APIs and JSON.
- Strong understanding of backend concepts and data transfer processes.
- Experience working with databases, data mapping, transformation, and validation.
- Solid knowledge of system-to-system integrations and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Smartsheet, including Smartsheet API, integrations, automation, data synchronization, and transferring data between Smartsheet and other business systems, is highly preferred.
